Road Closure: Edinburgh Way and Fifth Avenue - Zelenskyy Avenue A1019

On behalf of Essex County Council, Bouygues UK Ltd are undertaking essential works on Edinburgh Way and Fifth Avenue – Zelenskyy Avenue A1019 as part of the Harlow Sustainable Transport Corridor project. 

As a result of these works, the following road closures will be taking place:

  • Both the eastbound and westbound carriageway on Edinburgh Way, between the Toby Carvery Roundabout to the Burnt Mill Roundabout. This closure will last for one night, from 8pm on Friday 4th of July to 5am on Saturday 5th of July 2025.
  • Both the northbound and southbound carriageway on Fifth Avenue – Zelenskyy Avenue A1019 between the Burnt Mill Roundabout and the Sainsbury’s Roundabout. This closure will be in place across the weekend, from 5am on Saturday 5th of July to 8pm on Sunday 6th of July 2025.

The road closures on Edinburgh Way and Fifth Avenue – Zelenskyy Avenue A1019 are required to carry out surfacing work, with closures in both directions of each road needed to ensure public and workforce safety.
