A1114 Essex Yeomanry Way update – traffic management adjustment for phase two

We are nearing completion of phase one of our safety barrier improvement works on Essex Yeomanry Way and are now transitioning to phase two. This next phase will focus on the section from the A414 Maldon Road junction.

To safely manage traffic in this area, we will be adjusting the traffic management setup. This includes limiting use of the bus lane to accommodate the pinch point near the A414 on-slip. This area will be clearly signed to inform and guide road users.

Our works are taking place using a combination of day and night shifts, with lane reductions and a 40mph speed limit. This allows the road to remain open, with safety maintained for the public and workforce.

As we approach the end of the school holidays, we anticipate some delays in this section due to increased traffic volumes. Please allow extra time for your journeys and continue to travel with care through the area.
