About the works

As part of the approved Windermere development on Hospital Approach, Broomfield (Planning Application Ref: 23/00520/FUL), the developer has carried out the following highway improvement and road safety works:

• Construction of a new bellmouth access on the northern side of Hospital Approach
• Upgrades to footways along the site frontage to enhance pedestrian access
• Installation of a new uncontrolled pedestrian crossing with a central island on Hospital Approach
• Addition of a new traffic island to improve road safety
• Relocation of the westbound bus stop on the southern side of Hospital Approach approximately 15 metres west

These improvements support the development and enhance safety and accessibility in the area.
