About the works

Carriageway surfacing improvements have now been completed along the B1014 High Street / Point Road in Canvey Island. These works have formed part of ongoing efforts to enhance road conditions and improve safety for all road users.

The programme included the removal and renewal of the road surface, joint sealing repairs, and adjustments to manholes and gullies where necessary.

Works started mid September and were completed early October 2025 as planned.
