Consolidated active travel fund

We have been allocated £5,494,935 which will be used to support walking, wheeling and cycling in Essex as well as supporting behaviour change activities and capability-building measures.

1. Improvements on Lawn Lane (part of the Chelmsford LCWIP 3 route) which will include the introduction of a new signalised crossing alongside new sections of a cycleway and upgrades to existing footways
2. A segregated cycle path linking Bruff Close to Albert Roundabout, part of the Colchester LCWIP 1 route.
