Consolidated active travel fund (ATF6)

We have been allocated £5,494.935 which will be used to support walking, wheeling and cycling in Essex as well as supporting behaviour change activities and capability-building measures.

The first two schemes to be progressed using the funding will be:

1. Improvements on Lawn Lane (part of the Chelmsford LCWIP 3 route) which will include the introduction of a new signalised crossing alongside new sections of a cycleway and upgrades to existing footways.
2. A segregated cycle path linking Bruff Close to Albert Roundabout, part of the Colchester LWCIP 1 route.
