Transport corridor advanced works

Ahead of the start of the main works on the scheme, we are working with statutory undertakers to undertake advanced works. These are the various companies and agencies given general licence to carry out certain development and highways works.

These companies are responsible for utilities which need to be moved to enable the wider scheme to progress and include Openreach, UKPN, Affinity Water, Virgin Media and Vodafone who have all been on site this summer/autumn. The works have include surveys/investigations and moving utilities as required.

Following completion of the advanced works, we expect the main works contractor to begin in early 2024.
