Stambridge Road Culvert update

The lining works started as planned at the culvert located on Stambridge Road. As the works have progressed we have been advised it will be necessary for the road closure to remain in place until the end of the day on Friday 20 August 2021.

Brickwork repairs are still planned to take place from Tuesday 31 August 2021 for approximately 4 days as previously advised. During this time there will be lane restrictions managed by temporary traffic lights on Stambridge Road.

The second stage of lining works will be completed later in the current financial year and we will provide a further update as soon as arrangements are confirmed.
