Oasis Bridge - Vegetation clearance planned in advance of main bridge refurbishments

Vegetation clearance works will take place from Monday 8 March to Friday 12 March on the B1137 Springfield Road in Chelmsford to prepare an area for a site compound and bridge improvement works due to begin next month at Oasis Bridge.

To support these activities, one lane will be closed while they work on the north and south embankments during the course of the week, to enable work to be carried out at a safe distance from passing traffic as well as to protect the public and workforce.
