Oasis Bridge: Overnight road closure and traffic management arrangements

The overnight road closure provisionally scheduled for this week has been delayed due to unexpected work required before the de-jacking of Oasis Bridge can take place.

The contractor is working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible to minimise delays however, please be aware this additional work could impact key traffic management changes planned later in the programme.  

The overnight road closure has provisionally been rearranged for Thursday 5 August 2021. We will provide a further update as soon as the closure date is confirmed. 

In the meantime, please be aware that the road layout will soon be adjusted overnight on Tuesday 2 August to strengthen the existing safety measures in place by closing the entire inner lane of the roundabout and close the southbound off slip to a single lane.  This will ensure traffic runs into a single lane throughout, improving driving behaviours.

Please allow extra time travelling through the area and observe all signage and restrictions in place.  We will continue to monitor our traffic restrictions and they may be adjusted at short notice to reflect the activities being carried out on site.
