Langford Road, Heybridge Roundabout - roadworks update 

From 30 June 2025, developers working on the new Langford Road Roundabout in Heybridge are installing temporary traffic lights to support preparations to connect the new roundabout.

This will be followed by a full road closure of a section of Langford Road from 23 July and continuing through to the end of August. During this period, extensive earthworks will take place to realign Langford Road with the new roundabout layout.

The new route between Langford Road and Broad Street Green via the relief road (Jubilee Way) is anticipated to be open by the end of September 2025, helping to ease congestion in Heybridge and Maldon, making journeys smoother and more efficient for all road users.
