East Hill update - overnight works

Overnight works will be taking place at the Guildford Road junction on Thursday 29 October 2026.

The works will include:

• Removal of the filter lane from East Hill turning right into Rosebery Avenue
• Drainage surveys
• Road marking works
• Preparatory works for the temporary relocation of the bus stop at the bottom of East Hill

To facilitate these works, access to East Hill, Guildford Road and Rosebery Avenue will be maintained using temporary traffic signals. Works will begin from 8pm.  Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to residents and road users. While some construction activity will take place overnight, it is not anticipated that these works will cause any undue noise pollution.
