Cust Hall Bridge: Progress update January 2021

Due to the recent adverse weather conditions and high water levels, progress has been affected on site and delays to the programme have been unavoidable. We are working towards completing construction by the end of February 2021. Please be assured we are working hard to complete the works as soon as possible to reduce disruption to the local area.

This week the brickwork to the bridge parapets have been completed and concrete has been poured into the core section within the brickwork. Construction of the kerbing has also been completed on both sides of the road. 

Upcoming activities include: construction of the footway and carriageway, embankment reinstatement, replanting trees and installation of bollards and signs.
