Cadent Gas utility works update - St Botolph's Circus

Ahead of starting the planned major regeneration of St Botolph’s Circus, advanced works are needed to help make sure that critical utilities will not be impacted by the works when they get underway.

Cadent Gas Ltd have a permit in place to undertake works between September and November (10 weeks). Following initial survey work, Cadent have confirmed that the gas main on the roundabout itself does not need to be protected ahead of the start of the project, reducing the overall works and associated time required.  From the 22nd September Costain, working on behalf of Cadent will be back on site to undertake ancillary works.  This involves replacement of mains run between the Brittania Way Car Park and St Botolph’s Circus Roundabout.  Further details on this will be provided once confirmed by Cadent in due course.
