Broomfield Cycleway update

Good progress is being made despite some material supply issues that are being felt across the industry and some ecological matters that have had to be addressed.  Some minor design changes have been made due to the existing flora and fauna, which allows more to be retained than first anticipated which has a positive benefit.

Because of the above we are slightly behind our schedule for this stage however the team are working as hard as they possibly can to complete the works around Chelmer Valley High School before the new term commences. 

The work at the Church Green section of the scheme is moving along nicely and the outline of the new cycleway can be seen as the construction process continues.

We appreciate the support and co-operation we have seen with the use of the diversion routes while these works are underway.
