A1114 Essex Yeomanry Way, Chelmsford - safety barrier improvements complete

We are pleased to confirm safety barrier improvement works have been completed on the central reservation of Essex Yeomanry Way in Chelmsford.

The works were completed ahead of schedule allowing for additional enhancements to be carried out within the original timeframe.

Here’s what went into the project:

• 13,570 hours of continuous work
• 3,700m of new safety barriers installed
• 103 tonnes of steel used and 448 tonnes of concrete poured
• 4,256 tonnes of surplus soil safely removed
