Welcome to the Highways Service Information Centre
St Osyth Priory Estates, who manage St Osyth Priory, are planning essential repairs to the historic boundary wall located on Mill Street.
The wall is currently in a weakened and deteriorating condition and requires repair.
To address this, temporary traffic signals will be installed followed by the erection of a temporary structural support to maintain safety until permanent repairs are completed. These signals will remain in place until a long-term solution is implemented.
Due to the wall’s historical significance, St Osyth Priory Estates will work closely with Historic England to agree on the permanent restoration approach, which may take some time.
St Osyth and Point Clear are popular destinations, so every effort will be made to minimise inconvenience for residents, businesses and visitors wherever possible
St Osyth Priory Estates are responsible for keeping residents and businesses updated with progress, however we also aim to share key details when they become available on this webpage.
