About the works

Essential strengthening works on the masonry arch at Hercules Bridge, located on Debden Road, Newport, Saffron Walden were completed in September 2025.  Activities included the installation of a structural reinforcement system and masonry repairs to address existing defects and enhance the long-term durability of the bridge.
