London Road Enterprise Zone Access and Link Road

Essex Council Council has developed a series of improvements in Harlow including the A414/London Road Enterprise Zone access and link road.

These improvement measures are designed to manage congestion across the town, making it a more attractive place to invest, retain existing business and to allow the town to grow and regenerate.

This scheme provides a signal controlled junction with the A414 and the Enterprise Zone site, and construction of a new link road from the junction with the A414 through the Enterprise Zone site to London Road.

A segregated right turn has been created into the Enterprise Zone and two ‘continue ahead’ lanes in both directions on the A414. Road widening has been required along the A414 for 350 metres, from the Enterprise Zone junction to the First Avenue roundabout. The scheme includes resurfacing and white lining.
