About the works

Arrangements are being made to carry out drainage investigations on Colchester Road, Thorpe-le-Soken, Clacton-on-Sea.

The planned works will involve the investigation and alleviation of surface water issues on the road which are reported to be experienced after heavy rainfall.

What is involved and how it may affect you

Works are due to take place from Monday 31 October 2022 and expected to take approximately 6 weeks to complete.

Lane restrictions will be in place and managed by temporary multi-way traffic lights for the duration. We urge all drivers to take additional care and observe traffic management and signage in place during the works.
