Good progress on Albert Roundabout Works, Colchester

Works on the Albert Roundabout Active Travel Improvement Scheme are progressing well.

Construction has now resumed following a break for the festive period, and the project has now passed the halfway stage.

To date, most of the works have concentrated on the roundabout’s side that connects to Colne Bank Avenue - works on the Cowdray Avenue side are currently in progress and growing in size.

The project is running to schedule and currently programmed to complete by the end of February. However, this is subject to change due to factors including inclement weather.

We would like to thank all residents and users of the roundabout for their cooperation and patience throughout the works so far.
