East Bridge – road closure rescheduled

Due to circumstances beyond our control, unfortunately the surfacing works due to take place this weekend have been postponed. Works have been rescheduled to take place on Friday 17 September to Monday 20 September 2021.

A road closure will be in place on East Street from Brook Street to Ipswich Road from 7pm Friday until 5am Monday on the advertised dates. Advanced warning notices will be in place prior to any works commencing and appropriate diversion routes will be implemented during road closures.

Access will be maintained to properties located within the closure. Residents affected will have received a letter which included an escort pass which will remain valid.

Passenger transport arrangements will remain the same as previously advertised.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
