Stops Park and RIde Site, Colchester General Hospital Northern Approach Road, Colchester Railway Station layby, Middleborough, Colchester Town Centre High Street, Colchester Town Centre St Johns Street, Colchester Town Centre Head Street and then loops back to the Park and Ride, via Middlebourgh, Colchester Railway Station layby, Colchester General Hospital Northern Approach Road.

You can use a ticket to hop on and off any park & ride bus all day. For example, get off at the hospital or rail station, then get back on to go to the town centre, then back out to the park & ride site. The ticket can only be used once from a park & ride site.

Park and Pedal

Bring your bike with you, leave your car at the site and cycle to your destination. Park and Pedal is £3 per day. We have bike racks should you chose to leave your bike at site overnight. We also offer Secure cycle lockers £20 per month, which includes free parking. Please visit Bikeaway to secure your locker.

Parking for special events in Colchester and at the Jobserve Community Stadium is sometimes available. Prices may vary for special events and concerts. The car park has extended opening times on these occasions.

Football matches at the Jobserve Community Stadium

The Colchester Park and Ride site will be open until 10.30pm to support parking for the following matches only

  • Tuesday 25 October - Crawley Town
  • Thursday 29 December - AFC Wimbledon
  • Sunday 1 January 2022 - Swindon Town - 3pm kick-off (site opens at 1pm)
  • Tuesday 14 February 2023 - Walsall

Payment must be made via MiPermit.

Slammed UK - 1st Sunday of every month

Our coffee mornings are home to cars, car lovers, chilled vibes, live music, a variety of food and great coffee. The events start at 10am until 1pm and you'll find something for everyone to enjoy. We'll also have some select exhibition stands on the mornings for you to shop around the best brands and take a look at some of the latest products and collections.

Sunday Car Boot Sale

Grand opening of the new hard standing Colchester Car Boot Sale is on Sunday 12th September 2021.

The car boot sale will open every Sunday until April 2022.

Sellers - No bookings to sell here, just turn up and pay on the day. Main set up time is 8am. Cars £12. Small vans £15. Large vans £20.

Buyers - Main opening time is 11am, 50p per person. You can enter early from 9am. 9am is £3. 10am is £1. All under 16's go free. Buyers money is taken immediately upon entering our site so please have the correct change ready. Please do not arrive to our site before the time you wish to enter.

Castle Park Concert Parking

The Park and Ride service will be offering a bus service and parking for the following concerts in Castle Park.

Tickets are available to purchase per car, payment must be made by Mi Permit. Your ticket can be used on regular Park and Ride Services on Saturday and additional services as timetabled below.
