Powers Hall End in Witham reopened to vehicles on Friday 28th October 2022, one week earlier than programmed following the completion of works to Chipping Hill Bridge and footbridge.

During the road closure, essential repairs were made to both the structure's brickwork and the footbridge, which was re-decked.  We also took an opportunity during the road closure to carry out repairs to the approach rails, clear vegetation, improve and clear gullies as well as refresh road markings.

Thank you for your patience throughout these works.
