When will the works take place and how will it affect you
Engineers appointed by Countryside are preparing for works to start this summer. These are due for completion winter 2017, subject to suitable weather conditions.
Working hours will generally be between the hours of 8.00am and 7.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am and 1.00pm on Saturdays.
It is recognised that this is a traffic sensitive route and the developer’s appointed contractor will manage the traffic flow during the works. Initially there will be minimal carriageway incursion as cones will be placed close to the edge of the carriageway of Hospital Approach. Later in the programme (October through to November), temporary multi-way lights will be required for the safety of the public and the workforce.
The developers appointed contractor will manage the traffic during the works and manually control the temporary traffic signals when these are required to minimise congestion and ensure a route for emergency service vehicles is maintained at all times.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the duration of the works.
Please take additional care when passing through the area, observing local signage and allowing extra time when passing through the area.
The developer will provide the necessary notifications to local residents, businesses and interested parties in advance of works. Scheme plans are available in the document section below.
Updates will also be made available on this webpage as the scheme develops, however on site signage will also provide the most up to date information about the work programme. Additional roadworks information can be found on: www.roadworks.org.
The works will be completed by Breheny Contractors on behalf of Countryside
